About the Artist

Hi, I am Aniko

I’ve always believed that some of the most beautiful moments in life happen when we slow down enough to notice them.

A long table under the trees.
Something homemade coming out of the oven.
Paint on our fingers.
A glass of wine and a conversation that somehow lasts for hours.
Women laughing together, creating something with their hands, and leaving feeling a little lighter than when they arrived.

That is the feeling behind The Bloom on the Hill.

I created this little space in the Andalusian hills as an invitation to step away from the noise and come back to the things that make us feel alive — creativity, nature, good food, meaningful connection, and the simple joy of making something together.

I’m a photographer and lifelong creative, and I’ve always found beauty in the little things: beautiful light, handmade objects, a thoughtfully set table, flowers gathered from the garden, and the magic that happens when people come together around something simple.

The Bloom on the Hill grew naturally from that.

It isn't a traditional retreat center.
And it isn't just a collection of workshops.

It’s a place to gather.

Sometimes we'll paint.
Sometimes we'll bake bread.
Sometimes we'll stretch, dance, make something beautiful, sit around the table, or simply talk.

Each experience is intentionally small and personal, so there is room for real connection — and room to breathe.

Come as you are.

You don't need to be an artist.
You don't need to know how to make sourdough.
You don't need to be flexible, creative, or particularly good at anything.

Just come.

Bring your curiosity, your messy hands, your stories, your laughter — and leave a little more nourished, inspired and connected than when you arrived.

I can’t wait to welcome you to the hill.
